Having issues starting this bot - when i load in it sits on "Starting..." and when i hit "Play" it keeps triggering the "Paused" function as if its crashed or something. Might this have to do with the update today?

Hey, if you're seeing "Starting...", that means my UI was unable to load and the DefaultUI has been loaded instead. It seems to be working fine on my end. Restarting runemate + runelite will probably fix this issue.
