Thank you for replieing here :p cuz i was thinking, why not add an adfly to the client download? it will bring in some money :)
the bot can easely get 5k downloads each month.

Maybe also add a function that when a link is posted that goes outside of the forum, the user needs to pas an adfly... its 5seconds, but it can bring a nice cashflow to RuneMate

We need to advertise the bot. 185 users online is not the best. An investment into advertising can be just as useful as using advertisements on the website. Spend money to make money.

I think the botclient itself still needs work :) and the servers need to be able to hold a huge amount of users :)
Don't forget that a big portion of RuneMate is cloud based :p like the mouse for example.
It runs great now with these low numbers, but imagine 2000+ users... everything would become slower.
And if the staff starts paying for adds, then alot of the budget will be gone... budget they will need to expand the server in the future :)

I was thinking we were using the servers we used to have for ArbiBots hehe they were big enough and fast. This client we use is very user friendly and much thought has gone into the skin it has, like having your forum status and messages built in when you log in. Genious.

Personally the ads don't bother me but why go to that website and buy powerleveling when I can go on the general market and find someone doing it for a quarter of the price?

Usually hate adverts, but for a website which I frequently use and is growing exponentially; I do not mind.

I would have to say that the advertisements should only be for websites that we are able to trust and if what @calemsx is saying is true then I don't know I feel about have them being an advertisement...

Ads don't bother me as long as they don't take away from the UX. The current ad placement is good imo, and I feel like more ads could be added without them become annoying.

This came up third on google search when I was browsing around for more professional bots.
I was amazed at the fluidity of the UI and how well everything worked for a bot client I had never heard of. On top of that, the adverts seem nonexistent. One banner at the top? You're too kind.

If the site needs to advertise to fund the production of Runemate, I really don't mind seeing ads. Please just keep up the good work guys!

I'm new to being active here, but very well placed ads, I of course don't enjoy ads but for the good of the company I back them 100%.
If they continue to be so fluent as far as placement and lack of destruction of the page/software, I will continue to think this way.
