So, are they just taking down the download link? Or is the client still operating. Like can i get a java client download file from someone else and bot like normal? Or is there just no more RS3 botting as of right now?

From today, new downloads of the Java client will no longer be available. We will spend the coming weeks troubleshooting issues with the community and supporting those directly affected by this transition. The exact closure date remains TBC, but we expect this to happen by the end of 2019.

As long as the user has either osrs installed (the official client) or a prior rs3 legacy installation, it'll work fine for the time being. A lot of guides are outdated now though.

I just found this site and program today 11/11/19 and I cannot run any bot due to java being gone. I only play rs3 and I use the nxt client but I cant use the bots without the java client. any idea on the time frame for when this will be fixed or adapted? @Cloud

Let's just say it won't be happening in days or weeks - it is a much longer term issue.

If you already have the client on your computer, you should be able to continue using it. You just can't download it from the RuneScape website (eg: on a new computer).

Did you start it manually or did you start it through Runemate?

Started it through Runemate and Runemate still cannot find the client.

No updates on this from the developers of Runemate as of yet, unfortunately.
