Script killing session: Pay extra to continue

I understand that there's a pay upfront system in place that makes you pay the hours when you start the script, but I honestly think its predatory that a lot of scripts simply stop the bot, not pause, when there is any kind of issue. Out of food? Stop bot. Cant navigate for some reason? Stop bot. Any other small setting you forgot that can easily be changed during a pause? Stop bot. No Configuration before premium start? Good luck setting up your bot while continue to pay and risk restarting the session multiple times for whatever reason.

I invested some money to try out couple premium plans, but due to bugs/configuration issues and whatever I spent more money on configuring/restarting bots than I have actually botted full sessions.

Please make it so that the bot gets PAUSED and not STOPPED when an error occurs so you at least have the option to change a small setting, or have us continue the paid session at least

You'll need to mention specific bots - many of us have already started implementing this practice in our bots but some are slow to catch up (or simply unaware that this is the best thing to do).

Almost all premium bots feature a trial which should be used to configure settings etc.

Most of the scripts I have used will show an error message on Runemate and give me like 5-10 minutes to fix the error before proceeding. There MAY be a script that I used that doesn't do this but I can't remember what it was.
Would you rather the script just stand around and do nothing while charging you the whole time?

Honestly I dont even think it's the bot author's issue. Runemate can see if I have used a trial for an hour a week to the second, but somehow loses all intelligence when it comes to making sure a paying user can use the product for the time advertised? Like how difficult is it to implement the same system that registers if that user uses an hour of Premium bots if it does exactly the same for trial versions?

On top of that, there's nowhere any notification that you start spending, that pausing a bot isnt actually pausing or that stopping the bot means you quit your session you paid for and have to start and pay for a new one once you restart the bot.

It's just predatory business practice in my opinion. I expected the most popular botting platform to have some more respect towards its paying users and inform what exactly we are paying for, when and when it stops

Big respect to the bot developers cleaning up after the mess it creates by offering a free session to do configuration to somewhat lessen the blow

No, the bot can stop, but the session(hour) you started doesn't have to stop. In case of an error the session could continue to complete the hour it is it and just stop before the start of the next hour if any errors aren't fixed.
