A vpn doesnt necessarly let you use bots without being banned, what it does is mask your ip and allow you to run your bots from your pc but it will appear from a different ip. This can be useful to avoid chain bans and any links to your own personal ip
You aren't guaranteed to bot without getting banned. It should still be said that VPNs can reduce ban rates, and be used for other stuff than botting. Creating accounts on rs through VPN is nice too. Also, IPVanish is a good VPN provider.
If your own IP is not flagged I highly recommend using your own. The chance someone else used the VPN IP prior to you and got it flagged isn't that small.
