OSRS Is your main safe if you bot a secondary account?

Well, assuming the main is played legit only, and you make a secondary account which you bot. Will the main be safe?

If you bot gets banned your ip gets flagged and they could trace back to you main and ban you even if you didnt bot there, use a proxy for the bot

There was a post earlier on Reddit this week where a guy botted on other accounts and he had his Trim Comped main banned for it, even tho he didn't bot on that one (JMOD Confirmed on thread aswell)

There's just no evidence of it happening/there's no precedent to indicate that jagex does that. As some have said, there's only evidence of ip specific bans for like the chinese goldfarmers lol running 50 accounts.

Even though there's no evidence or precedent for it you should still use a proxy/vpn if goldfarming 10+ accounts imo.
