I am trying to find out how jagex first comes across players they want to test, do we get reported by a player, and then a jagex players watches personally for suspicious behavior before they run a bot detection program? Or do they run bot detection as soon as a player is reported without personally looking at the player. Or is there some other method

I believe it was running the bot for (4+) hours, i did cuppa gaurdians of the rift and did mage arena to try to get mages book with the runes i got. They banned my iron a day after, maybe cause i ran the mage arena bot for 2+ hours lol

I have figured something out. It's not about whether or not you bot, it's the client you use. I've had an account I didn't bot at all on banned, just because I was using the RuneMate client (RS3). However, this does not seem to be the case with OSRS, as I have botted and played legitimately (a couple months ago, haven't botted in a while, just sharing my findings with RS3)

I bought the account on rpgstash.com, and luckily, I have been using it for a few months and have not had any problems so far.
