It would be handy to be able to sort the bot list in the following ways:

• Alphanumeric order
• Last Updated
• Recently Used
• Category

With Recently Used being the most useful in my opinion.

Well really it's not filtering. Filtering would imply the number of bots shown will change. What i think he's suggesting is that you show all agility bots first, followed by the combat bots, then the construction bots etc. But yeah, definitely not as useful as the others.

And last i checked we did have a search bar. Does the search only filter by name or is category, author etc like the store? If it includes the other stuff you could just search for that category.

I support extending search for category, author, etc. if it doesn't already.
 
But I still don't support sorting by category. The alphabetic order by category is meaningless.

That's fair enough, and filtering by category would be sufficient.
