Why is it not allowed to give people invites?
giving is allowed but making an exchange kinda thing isn't if I'm right.

In short, IPT is a torrent community with ethics, it's not some free leech party (although theres a lot of 'free leech' torrents). The idea is that everybody seeds at least as much as they download, which is nothing but fair to me. Result of that is that every torrent has like 500 seeders at least and that most popular ones have 1k+, and I've seen many torrents with as much as 10k seeders.
