And he'd be profiting from it if it changed.

It's not perfect now but while you're 'waiting', there are workarounds. Almost all premium bots include some way of changing settings at runtime. No need to continuously start/stop to change settings

    Ok let's stay objective.
    • Work on NXT support
    • Integrate RuneMate Webservices
    • Enhance Clouse to stop missclicking
    • Enhance the traversal web in order to fix bots getting stuck
    • Fixing existing client problems leading to crashes
That's some of the current issues that need to be dealt with.
Would you neglect those in order to refine the payment system so you end up saving about 10% (estimated percentage) of your money spent on bots?

Yes. I would neglect those to refine the payment system.

What? Over half of those savior listed probably contribute more towards any lost funds than having a bot end a few minutes early (or due to user error).
And one specifically would allow authors to provide more support remotely.

See, now you're the one only caring about yourself.

Are you joking? I am caring for the majority of the RuneMate playerbase. The only people that benefit from this are developers, and whilst we like developers to be benefited so you stay and make more bots... it can only go so far until the point that it's plain unfair on us broke cunts. I'm not mass botting like others, I just like to use RuneMate on a low scale :(

You're highlighting a very small problem as opposed to the much bigger ones that devs are focusing on. Like mentioned, the only time you're really hurt by paying for an hour in advance is if you start/stop early for some reason - which you shouldn't have to because most premium bots offer support for changing options at runtime; or the bot messes up, in which case you should just let the author know and they should refund you.

If you're choosing the wrong bot, or choosing to stop/start a bot because you started it in the wrong place or something similar, that's a user error that's pretty easy to manage atm..

Welp that's your opinion, but I'd prefer they fix the payment system first and I think others will agree.

Sure. Just like it's your opinion that it's a big problem. The part about it being able to be managed by users not randomly start/stopping randomly at runtime, or simply double-checking before using a bot is just fact.

Regardless, the admins are focusing on more important aspects atm.

The payment system is discussed regularly within the Executive team with suggestions taken from the community. There is nothing in this thread which has not already been discussed and at the end of the day the decision falls to Arbiter.
