Tutorial RuneMate Spectre – Common Issues & Troubleshooting

    Uninstall all Java runtimes from your computer. Then use the Windows installer for RuneMate. It will download the right JRE for you. On Windows, you need the 32bit (x86 or i586) JRE. You're best off just letting our installer handle it for you.

    I've done that already. It doesn't help.

    Just noticed that the runtime is x86 (32bit) in fact. Passing this on to @Cloud to take a look at.

    I can't actually get any of the bots to run. The Runescape client opens up and I'm able to log on, but no paint depicting bot stats appears and neither does any interface for the bot on Runemate. I've tried to use several different bots and this is the case with all of them.

    Please see the first post - there is no ETA on Mac OS support - It will be available when it is available.

    Mac is currently not supported, and as such the download button for it has been disabled. Re-instating Mac support is a top priority and will be done promptly.

    its telling me I have 2 instances running but i dont have any running at the moment. I tried restarting the client and uninstalling and reinstalling it but nothing seems to work.

    When this happens you just need to wait for the server side to recognise you do not have any active connections.

    Sometimes this can take about 30 minutes. It is recommended to restart your computer as well.

    Or the user can create a .bat file by opening notepad and typing in
    "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Java\jre1.8.0_77\bin\java.exe" -jar "C:\Users\aidde\RuneMate\RuneMate.jar -login=username: password" and saving it as run.bat and selecting all files as the file type. Replace the first part with the path to your 32 bit jre installation (java) and the second bit with the path to your spectre.jar. Replacing username and password with your user and pass will allow spectre to log in automatically.

    Still not working..

    I have only the 32bit intalled on my computer yet i'm getting "Jagex_jav" pop up when I want to run rs3 client.

    EDIT: NVM!! I just noticed spectre doesn't support NXT yet. Had to install legacy client, works fine now.

    I have this issue as well, no instance appears on the right hand side, even after I select a bot, account and client.

    That is an error with only one bot, not all.

    Post your exception on the specific bot thread.

    this was a log from one specific bot, but none of the bots are working for me.
    They run, but they do nothing. so i thought it might be something to do with the client

    Open a thread in client support then, could be a memory leak in the client, otherwise I'd suggest a memory leak in the bot.

    Also, try opening Runemate with console and allocating custom heapsize. Should be guides somewhere about how to do this.

    Im unable to do anything else when spectre script bot is running. The mouse just lags, i dont understand it.
