I've got a rare item as non-member like 3-4 times now, and when I was member I got never something good.
I believe this is just a trick so you give Jagex your money, it's the same lie as coupons are.

It's completely true, lol I used to host a private server and had a similar system to jagex's treasure hunter/squeel of fortune. I used the same system but in reverse. To where people who donated had a much much higher chance of receiving rare items, and those who hadn't would mostly get shit items.
