    Hi,

I can imagine many bot authors can get a little tired of people "reporting" bugs and have to ask for like 4 other things, like logs etc. to finally get what is wrong with their bot.

How about making a rule for reporting bugs? For instance, when you encounter a bug, you MUST provide the following information:

    - System specs
    - Operating system
    - Game ( RS3 or OS etc. )
    - Runtime bot
    - Short bug description
    - Method ( Task type etc. )
    - How to reproduce ( Detailed steps )
    - Is there a way to solve it manually?
    - Additonal information

Of course, you don't have to send your system specs with every minor bug you encounter, but all of this information would help the author A LOT with solving their bugs.

Could we get some sort of form as minimal requirement for reporting bugs? And if you can't fill out a proper bug report, then the "report" should be marked as invalid and ignored by the developer.

    Why?

    - Because I've seen a lot of people get frustrated by people who can't report bugs properly (Ex. HELP THIS BOT DOESNT WORK)
    - Because I think RuneMate has very friendly bot authors, who work mostly for free (for us!), and they deserve some help.

What do you guys think? Feedback?
If I forgot something, please let me know!

    Robin

Let's call it a convention, not a rule.

I mean I'm all for deleting useless posts from bot threads if the authors report them.

Sure thing. English is not my first language so it can be hard to explain, but you get my point ;)
