Will a P2P have a less chance of getting banned over a F2P? Also, Is it still, 1time bann = 1 week, 2time bann = 2 weeks, 3th time is permabanned?
It's all perm unless you get manually caught which is a week. Second time you get manually caught it's perm though.
Idk, I got manully banned and this is what my account status shows, Offence Date: 11-Jun-2015 Offence Expiry: 10-Jun-2016 My ban meter is only half way.
Good guide. Although I had an account with a username login and it was still banned even though I only botted for about 5 minutes.
This. Everything said here is speculation. Jagex doesn't tell us anything. Have you used any other bot clients (i.e. powerbot) prior to botting with RuneMate on said account? @KyoZ
Which is more probable reason of getting banned? 1) "botting time with no breaks" 2) reports received within mentioned time Its kinda relative but still i'm wondering because i was getting banned regularly within like 2 days after creating account on my last 6 accs (not all at once, 1-2 banned at once mostly) I botted like 24 hours/day on every single acc, but not all of them wass getting banned at that time so that's why I'm asking that question: "botting time" or "amounts of reports" or "amount of reports in short period of time" ? Also I assume most of the people around me was also botters - no chatting at all.
Hey everyone I am new here, just got finished reading up on this post. I found it interesting that username/password accounts might have a better chance at not being banned. So I decided to try to remember my super old account from a long time ago.. lol Long story short I got into my original account.. Hopefully, this account might help me out with not getting banned. haha (Sorry if this is reviving an old topic, I just thought it was funny how many days since my last login and decided to share!)
I've never read the full thread because most "How to bot safely" threads are really bad but i have to say, this has some really good tips, i use them all personally and i'm sure this can help others!
Haha, yeah! It was my very first RS account. I had played on it for a couple of months then like an idiot I listened to a guy telling me he could get me rich in game if I only gave him my account information.. Long story short I lost the account for awhile.. haha
Happened to me too once. I literally cried because my full rune was gone, and I worked really hard for it.
