Haha yeah, back in the days when most folks would go without rune plate because the quest was a difficult hassle. lmao

If you get banned, your IP-address will be flagged. This means that if you bot again, you will be caught faster than before.

Therefore, changing IPs are very important, but let me elaborate. When my bots get banned, then I know that my IP is flagged. Before I create new bots, I change IP. (I bot overnights using my 4G connection which provides me with a dynamic IP - perfect)

Changing IPs every 10 minutes or 6 hours on your account does nothing. It's the IP that the account was created with as well as played with that matters.

on of the biggest things I see is people who use their rs names inside the forums.
    • User names
    • Images of themselves
    • time and location - Bot broke down at this time at this location doing... Wait before posting!
    • After being banned or something happends they post it in a rage. I'm sure jagex looks on forums

Just don't over do your botting, moderate the times that you actually bot/play.

What is your definition of suicide botting? Like a whole 24 hours?

2 hours of gameplay per day is average?
Lol where did you get that statistic.
This is a game of pure grind. 2 hours a day wont cut it.
I have no idea what the average is but i know from people i talk to. they play average of 8 hours per day.

Maybe from the former CEO of Jagex himself?

The average Runescape player only plays 2 hours per day on a week day and 2.5 hours per day on the weekend. Running an account for 12 hours a day is not a nerdy human, it is a bot.

I can confirm, I played 10 hours a day even before i started botting. Even on other games I play 10 hours a day.
I cant imagine how anyone can be good at this game by playing two hours per day.
Streamers stream for average of 4 hours a day. And thats just stream time.
Im gonna stand my ground, that data is incorrect or outdated :p

No because most average players dont stream
if you stream you are clearly a 'scaper'
An average player comes on and just plays the game, a few quests, grind a bit, socialise w.e
going on forums, gambling, staking is not average player qualities, they are qualities of a person who is interested in the game and interested in the development of it.
I dont think I've actually 'played' runescape in years only botted.

It's all to do with habits and habit detection. If prior to botting you played 10 hours per day, and then continue to bot 10 hours per day you should be fine.

    HOWEVER

10 hours of botting looks very different to 10 hours of legit time.

Normal players won't log in, and click the same tree for 10 hours straight. Normal players interact with others, take breaks, change the skills they train frequently.

If your game habits as a botter can blend in with normal players, then you should (because none of us really know the true methods Jagex use) be okay.

those statistics aren't accurate. it includes the players who don't really play the game anymore. they just log in and off to see what the game looks like or check on new updates which lowers the number. also, this only talks about Runescape hours, not actual gaming hours. many players are playing other games instead or find the game boring.

login time plays a very insignificant role when it comes to bans, it only reduces player reports which is nothing because what is a player report telling jagex that their botwatch couldn't find? maybe that their hogging resources that a real player could be getting so they should be banned faster and not delayed as much maybe. i used to suicide with RiD with my main back in the day and powerbot with new accounts. i only use runemate now and the only time i got hit was that div sweep for RiD and powerbot's bans clearly came from the client or bot. that source also shows that people play more than 12 hours. 99.9% of the time you got banned was because of the bot or client. the official site says you get banned because they know you used a macro, not because of online time or not talking.
